Ed

So it was dinnertime and, since I'm done with my Cowboy Bebop episodes (though I have not watched the movie yet), and Gilmore Girls was last night so there was nothing to watch on the television tonight. But what the hell, I've nothing else to watch that will last only the duration of dinner, so I turn the TV on - Cartoon Network's playing that stupid cartoon (ironically I think it's called Ed, Ed, and Ed or something like that), the WB's on a commercial... so I switch to the other favorite (and the only other available) network primetime channel, NBC.

And watched one of the best random episodes of TV ever.

It was a re-run of the Season Finale (I think it is, at least, coz a lot of TV stations do re-runs of the finales right before the season premieres) of this show called Ed.

I remember seeing commercials and stuff but I always thought they were kinda tacky.

But in one single episode the plot went in at least 10 different directions and ended up making my dinner cold.

So yea, does anyone else watch this series?

No, I think the directors of that cartoon need to grow up.

I do like the Cartoon Cartoon "Courage the Cowardly Dog" though

The only cartoon I like to watch on Cartoon Network is Samurai Jack.

...

This thread derailed with it's first reply.

This makes me sad.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy is one of the best cartoons EVER!

Uh, surprisingly enough, I'm with Shal on this one. Ed, Edd and Eddy is some of the most abstractified and smart cartooning I've seen in a while. Would give it up for the Jack, though!! (Home Movies ownz0rs your ass, homie!!)

heh, aye uhok, i read the post. i've never seen Ed, as i don't watch much tv. i have cable again and more free time to sit around the house and watch the boob-tube. when's it on, maybe i can give it a gander

...oh and what is the name of the blode lady on there (Ed's girlfriend maybe?) last i remember she was quite the tasty treat... erm, i mean someone asked me her name and i couldn't recall

Posted by: uh...ok

The name of the actress or character? The character's name is Carol - she's pretty cute, but not on my top list nor would she be a big reason for me to watch the series (unlike Buffy or Dawson's Creek or Smallville - even though they all have great plots... well the first several seasons at least).

The season premiere's next Wednesday at 8 EST. I'll definitely make time to watch it even though I have a lab due that Thursday.

And Gilmore Girls premieres at 8 next Tuesday.

I so need a VCR.

Then it won't be a real anecdote anymore.

Damn the people with short attention spans, damn them to hell. They shouldn't be posting in a forum if they can't read past the first li- ooh something shiny...
