Website problems

I've recently encounted this problem. I've noticed lately when surfing the internet some websites like ebay and bestbuy.com take a while to scroll down it like kinda jumps its not like a smooth scroll. It has never done that before and I use a cable modem. I thought maybe I had a virus but nothing was detected. Bestbuy.com is the worse it takes along time to scroll down and search the site like if I use a 56k modem and I don't. Can anyone help me?

Update your virus scanner and check again. Also download Spybot Search & Destroy and check your comp for spyware. I have heard of this problem a while ago and it was either a virus or spyware.
