You're really interested in this thing, aren't you?

That's actually very news worthy...
I mean, everyone already knows from the start that the Phantom is probably vaporware anyway (even the console's name is very indicative, hehe), but the devil is in the details...

To me, he sounds like a rather ambitious entrepreneur who skipped a few too many business classes in college. He seems (though not to be fooled) to mean well, he's just not very good at getting a business off the ground.
I will address one specific thing about the article, and that is the comment about rolling the dice in vegas as a metaphor for investing and how that's a 'bad idea'. I'll have to disagree, and assert that rolling the dice is precisely how it works in a capitalist economy. You present an idea, try to get interest. The investors think it might work, and give you money. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. He's (again, seems) just doing what countless people have done before him, really.
Then again, he could be a very good con man. We'll find out eventually.

He's from Missouri, the Outlaw State...that should answer those questions in the most discerning minds. Think the St. Louis Paper did an indepth on this guy. it wasn't very flattering. Bad people with Big guns are looking for him.

Outlaw State? Cool...

Its strange. They were supposed to unveil the phantom in March, they canceled. Then at E3, they canceled. Then they were going to hold a press conference and unveil it, they canceled. It ended up getting unveiled online, with nothing but a couple of 'photos' and the rest were art. No demo, no screenshots, no videos, nothing.
