I down loaded Pop Up Stopper and at first the pop ups had stop 98%, now the pop up are starting to creep up again more and more

Are there software programs that can be purchase for this problem or are there other pop up stopper on the internet to be rated better service??

Thank you

I know that Mozilla has a built-in pop-up stopper ... but if you don't want to switch browsers from IE, I suggest using the Google toolbar, which integrates to the browser and stops pop-ups, as well as a host of other options ... best of all, it's free to download.

removing and blocking spyware will prevent a lot of the varmints.

Hi,

If you download and use the Google toolbar, it has a built in pop up blocker. So far, for me, no popups have gotten through.

Or if you're willing to spend some money (being legally correct here), get Adsgone 2003. It relies on a central server that's updated frequently, and blocks both pop ups and banner ads like a charm.

as redwench alluded to, sometimes popups dont come through websites, and can come from advertising software on your pc. Ad Aware and Spybot: Search & Destroy are the top programs for dealing with this type of issue.
