Not sure if it still comes with the free GBA player or Game. I would think it wouldnt.

Sweet!
It seems that the $99 package contains all the same things that the EB $150 package does. That makes me 50 bucks closer to a GameCube. Niceness.

Cripes thats cheap.
I think I'll buy a gba sp instead though.

I would be all over a GBA SP if it went down to $49.99
I wonder if the GBA life is coming to an end though and a new one is coming. Hasnt it been out since '00?

I doubt the GBA's life is coming to an end.
Sure, Nintendo has put out alot of gameboy's in the past, but really... the original Gameboy, Gameboy pocket and Gameboy color were all the same system. That system lasted them a long ass time.
The GBA is currently in its second form (sp). They've still got one more mutation before they come out with completely new hardware
Plus, the thing is incredibly successful. Dont mess with success (or somethin like that)
--edit--
regarding your gba for $49.99.... what if they left the cube at $149 but included a free GBA with it? Man, that would be one hell of a deal and it might make people give a damn about the whole "cube to gba connectivity" thing.

Now $149 for cube and GBA, thats a good bundle. But thats no good to everyone that has a GC already. Maybe if they did something to where you could use your Gamecube and GBA serial number on the nintendo website and get a rebate or some free GBA games.
