I have a Leadtek Winfast 2000XP Deluxe PCI. I installed it for the first time and it worked fine, no issues whatsoever, I recently formatted and since then it doesn't work. I install the drivers no problem, then install the PVR application that plays information from the card, but when i try to load it now, it doesnt work. The splash screen comes up and then it freezes and i have to End Process to get it to go away....
Anyone want to help? Im gonna e-mail leadtek later.

Ive had problems with it too. Do not email Leadtek, they will not help you.
You need to manually install the drivers. First uninstall it completely, everything related to the TV card. Next, after rebooting windows, click cancel on everything that comes up asking to install it.
Next, get the latest drivers and PVR software from here:
http://www.leadtek.com.tw/support/d...p?pronameid=304
Now, go into device manager and find the devices that have the Yellow caution "!" next to them. Open each one and install the drivers. You will need to manually specifiy the directory to wherever you downloaded the drivers to. After you get all those finished(I think theres 6 devices), you need to install the PVR software. Make sure you reinstall all codecs when it asks you.
After that, it should work. If durring install of the drivers it says your missing a file, use windows search to find it. If you dont have it on your system, search the net for it. I had to get 2 files off the net to use it, but Im using WinME, WinXP shouldnt have that problem.

I had the same problem. First I installed this card in windows 2000, it worked find for about the first 5 reboots but windows kept on giving be a message that new hardware was installed. Then I kept getting the windows "blue screen" of death. It was something to do with NTOS***.exe program. I reinstalled windows 2000 3 more times and it kept giving me the "blue screen" again but for a different message.
Finally I installed XP pro, this solved my problem but I updated a fix from Microsoft and when I attempted to record anything it would lock the program up and I had to "END PROCESS".
I fixed this by uninstalling a "hot fix" which is located in the add/remove programs of the control panel.
Sorry I do not have the hot fix #, but this was the fix I uninstalled "DirectX 9.0b End-User Runtime" try this.
Good luck
