Gamecube Now Less Than Hundred Dollars

Nintendo has officially dropped the price of its Gamecube console to $99.99. The company has been happy with the sales of the console. George Harrison, senior Vice President of marketing and communications, states that "so far in 2003, Nintendo GameCube is the only home console showing an increase in unit sales compared to 2002."
Commenting on the fact that the Gameboy Advance SP and the Gamecube are now the same price, Harrison says "I don't think it creates a problem. In fact, you can buy an SP and a GCN for the price that you now pay for a PlayStation 2 bundle. We continue to sell as many GBA's as we can get."
The price drop will be effective September 25.

But wow, GC at $99 is a great deal. I hope it still has the deal where it comes with the games and all.

It's not a good deal when the price of the console is more than the prices of all the fun games for the system added together.

Well when it was $150 with a free game you could have thought of it in two ways.
1. You were paying $150 for the Cube and getting a game free or,
2. You were paying $100 for the Cube and $50 for the game.

Never more true. I played through Zelda, Metroid, Eternal Darkness, and a ton of Smash Bros. Then I sold mine. Just and Xbox, PSone, and SNES now.

Metroid is the only game I've genuinely liked so far. Zelda was cool for a first playthrough, but I tried to play through it again, and all the stupid time wasting bullshit just annoyed the **** out of me.

Well, me too, but I was able to suffer through it in order to finish the game. Not a second time though.

Yeah I was pretty sick of both fetching and water by the end of the game.
I didn't think I could play through it again anytime soon.
Metroid was definately cool though.
