Fax Problem

I recently purchased a Dell computer and have windows 2000/XP. I also have a HP office k80 printer/fax machine. I use a telephone modem to get on the internet. My problem is I am able to FAX when I get off the internet but I cannot receive a FAX. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Are you trying to receive a fax to your computer ? If so, put the xp cd back in and select "install additional components" and look for the faxing service and then install it. Hope this helps.
