Raven Shield Startup error

When I run raven shield I recieve this message-
OS: Windows 98 4.10 (Build: 67766446)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1100 MHz with 383MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 256 (2181)
Assertion failed: RenDev [File:.\WinViewport.cpp] [Line: 471]
History: UWindowsViewport::OpenWindow <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine
Anyone got any ideas , i have directx 9 and dont have a clue why this happpens?

Have you tried updating your video drivers? Getting the latest ones usually solves alot of problems with games. You can find them here (click on Graphics Driver > GeForce and TNT2 > your OS).

I have fixed the prob installin some old 21.82 drivers i had on a disc
