what kind of cable link is this? ethernet? usb2.0? Firewire?

Serial i think!! ist a cable with 25 pins, i connect it where i connect the printer!! Thanks for your help i really need it!!

Well, for starters, both serial and parallel ports are outdated technology and are on their way out. Judging by the OSes you're running, it would appear that you have relatively current machines, and so I would reccomend tranfering via ethernet, or if you don't have an NIC in both computers, possibly usb.

The other option is simply to take the HD out of one computer, put it in the other, and tranfer via IDE.

Thanks for helping me!! i think i should buy a USB cable, i asked for the parallel because its the cable that i already have!!
