Halo(demo) Video Problem

I've recently downlaoded the hlao demo to see how well the game works on my computer.
The game runs smoothly and everything, except for one major problem, all the textures in the game are blank. All vehicles, models, weapons, adn terrain are either a solid white or a solid grey colour, and may have weird shading on them if there's a lightsource nearby.
I assumed this is a video card problem and downlaoded the latest drivers and even downloaded directX9.0b (even though it says Halo installs it for you) and still i have the problem, i've re-installed the demo too and still the same problem.
I have a Radeon 7500 vid card. Other system specs availible upon request.
