Hi there,
I am behind FIREWALL and do not know how to open ports for CS (27005, 27015, 27016).

1. Should I dare and create new protocol definitinon(s)?
What kind of protocol type I should define (tcp, udp...?), inbound/outbound/both?...

2. Any filters needed?

It is ISA Serv!

anyone pls

Okay, what you need to do first is find the local adress of the server (ie 192.168.0.___). Then go to your firewall properties and open port forwarding of the necesary ports and limit access to the one computer to maximize network security. Set the service is a TCP/IP server. Now you are ready to go.

For CounterStrike open the following OUTBOUND in your firewall:

TCP 27005-27035
TCP 6003
TCP 7001-7002

It's okay to create new protocol definitions -- that's part of managing your firewall.

The only 'filter' I'd recommend is that if you're on a network (have more than one computer behind your firewall), make sure those ports are only open to the computer you have Counterstrike on.
