But not for another year

I almost bought the first one just because of the cover art, but I resisted the temptation. Was this a wise choice?

Its one of the best 3rd person shooters in the last 3 or 4 years.

Roger that.

Bloodrayne was suprisingly good. I bought it as a complete "blind buy" when I bought my xbox and I ended up playing that more than any other game (that changed when I got knights of the old republic).

I agree with SKYHN... definately the best 3rd person shooter that I've played on the current generation consoles.

Cant wait for the sequel! The movie should be interesting too. When I first saw comercials for "underworld" (I think thats what it was called)- I immediately thought of of Bloodrayne.

There is a demo for it on PC if you wanna see how it is before buying. Its a pretty long demo too and you can do a ton of stuff in it.

One word of caution to anyone who does purchase bloodrayne-- play it for more than an hour.

For reasons unknown, the makers of the game decided to make the first hour a snooze fest. Really dull stuff. The first 15 minutes gets you accustomed to the controls, but the next 45 minutes after that is just repetitive crapola. It gets so much better once you get out of New Orleans.

Great game except for the first level

The PC demo takes care of that

That would explain why I hated it. I put it down before I got out of New Orleans, because it was so terrible.
