I haven't seened this question be asked no where.

I just installed Win98 SE and it didnt detect my modem which is internal. I reinstalled Win98 SE again and nothing.

So, my question is....since my Internal modem has not been detected by Win98 SE, is it possible to use an External modem??

If so, can i get some steps on what to do??

THX!

Have you tried going through device manager and installing the driver for your modem? It may not have the driver in win98 for the modem.

You didn't say if the internal Modem was a PCI or an ISA card.
Change slots and see if Windows detects it.
