AMD T-Bird 1.1 posting as 1.0

When my computer Boots, my processor shows as 1000 MHz (100mhzx10) but I bought the 1.1Ghz processor. Here is pertinant PC info:
Processor: AMD T-Bird 1.1Ghz (Posting as 1.0GHz)
Motherboard: Tyan Trinity KT 1.03A
Award Modular BIOS 6.00PG

Do you happen to have the model number of the motherboard? Searching the Tyan website, I found three Trinity boards, two of which that support the 1.1 chip and one that doesn't.
