Hopped on to burn a few discs today and received the message that I needed to install new software to preform a function tht I've been doing every week for the past 6 months. Upon attempting to reinstall the software, I received this message after the InstalShield loaded: "Developer Error. Invalid command line parameter" What the hell does that mean??? Can you help?

XOXO,
Rusty

well im no computer genious, but id say something has gone a little wacky and my favorite thing to do when stuff like that happens is...
go to dos, type scanreg
hit start
find a backup of your system (it will say a date and then Started)
pick the most recent date before the problem began.. let it do its thing..
it will hopefully work with no errors, and then will restart and wham bam you have yourself fixed..

i have done it several times and it always works for me, but this is just a suggestion.
good luck.
