Ghost 2002 v7.0

All right any help would be apperciated. Here are the stats:
1) Compaq Armadda 100s
2) Linksys PCMCIA Card
3) Symantec Ghost 7.0 2002
I can connect the two identical computers, but the speed is so slow!! less then 0 mb p/s. Linksys only offers a pcket driver, hoping to find a NDIS2 driver. Or it may be a problem with the Armada 100s?
Does anyone have any info?????
