NIC problems

I accidentaly hit the "sleep" button on my keyboard (didn't even know I had one) and my computer attempted to go into standby. Well, it just sort of froze the machine and I had to turn the computer off and restart.

Upon restarting my NIC isn't working. I've troubleshooted and the problem isn't with my router or network cable. The little light on the card isn't on any more either. I think I put the card to "sleep" when I went into standby and it hasn't woken up. My NIC is actually a Realtek integrated into my mobo.

I can ping localhost (127.0.0.1) normally...

Setup:

WinXP Pro
Case: Cooler Master ATC-201
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-8IHXP
CPU: P4 2.4B 533 FSB
Video: Abit Sirulo Geforce4 4600
Sound: Soundblaster Audigy XGamer
Speakers: Klipsch Promedia 5.1
Hard Drive: Western Digital 120GB "Special Edition" 8MB Cache
Memory: 512MB Kingston 1066 RDRAM
CD-RW: TDK VeloCD 40X/12X/48X
PSU: PC Power and Cooling 400W Silencer Soundproofed
Monitor: 24" Widescreen Sony GDM-FW900
Router: D-link DI-764 wireless

Is there someway I can "wake" my NIC. Is that really the problem though?

Sounds like its something w/ the bios. I'd go into the bios setup and then disable it, restart, and enable it, that might fix it. Either that or uninstall/reinstall it in windows.
