I recently posted a problem about my computer resetting on its own and I finally got to where I could disable that, but now I am getting STOP error screens. Some of you have asked what the error codes on the stop screens were, so please try to put them into words I can understand. The following have been showing up recently:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Stop: 0x0000000A (0xFFBDFFC8, 0x00000002, 0x000000000 x 8050DD72)
Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_Area
Stop: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFE001, 0x00000001, 0BF9V8A52, 0x00000000)
Sis630V.d77 - Address Bf9B8A52 base at Bf9B7000, Datestamp 3e2fbf97
STOP: 0x0000008E (OxC 0000005, 0x80608F59, 0XEBF09BF4, 0x00000000)
If you have any knowledge at all about this, please help the best you can. Thanks.

I got that IRQ error right before my motherboard when FUBAR, and I also got it 5 minutes after installing a fresh install of XP pro on a perfectly good computer. If you ever figure out what it means...

In my case of getting these stop errors it had to deal with my network, I disabled my card, works perfectly fine.

what card did you disable? What was it called?

do search for the stop error at microsoft's Knowledge Base
by the way...do u have any other "known to u as good" memory stick around?
try to replace and reboot
then go for any other adapter cards like:
remove modem and reboot
then remove nic and reboot
then what not and reboot
if u have an onboard video and u installed a new video card make sure u disabled the on board as well as any shared memory
have a look at the system properties (if u can boot the os) at the device manager tab and check for red or yellou marks for any irq conflicting hardware. like modem's and nic's.
also go into the bios setup and diable the modem uses irq at the power management tab set it to non or N/A
good luck
