DSL PS2 Hub

Can someone help me.... my ten year old son is driving me crazy!! I have Yahoo DSL, someone gave us a Hub (Linksys, model # FEN SKO5) and he wants to hook up to his PS2. Maybe all the parts aren't with this hub. There is the Hub itself, and 2 blue cords. To tell you what I did that really was screwed up was... I hooked the DSL cord in the uplink port on hub... then then the yellow erthnet cord into port 2, then one of the bllue cords in port 3 to send to the network adapter on the ps2, then another blue cord to the erthnet port on the back of the dsl modem, anyway my phone wouldn't work, and couldn't connect... I really had it all jacked up! My brother is my computer handy man, he already took me step by step on what to change on my computer so I know that is setup ok the networking stuff, but now I can't get ahold of him ( he lives in Texas) to get the rest fixed.. I also bought a 25 foot cat something cable but haven't tried nothing with that yet... Please, Please can someone help me... By the way, Oklahoma Sooners are unbeatable... lol.! Thanks,
