Can anyone help advise on the problem below?
I have just bought MSI FX5200 graphics card and installed it in my P3 733 Mhz PC. After installing, everytime boots up, it will complain that my CPU speed is not right and that if I insist booting up, it will affect the performance, and it really does.
Can anyone tell me what happened?
Thanks
Mack

I recently installed an Innovision GeForce FX5200 in a customers PC with a similar specification, but running Win2000.
Not the same problem, but it would frequently hang on booting up or send the monitor into standby. I tried various resolutions and colour settings and even installing the card in a test PC, but I always had the same problems to some degree. When it did work however, it was quite a decent card, for a budget card that is!
I eventually cured it by downloading and installing the latest drivers from the nVidia website and installing drivers for the monitor itself. It must be a problematic card/driver as there have been a number of driver updates already.
Hope this helps.
