Delphi error

I kept getting an error as follows:

This module was compiled using a trial version of Delphi
The trial period has expired

Every time I would open a Windows XP component such as Internet Explorer, Control Panel, Search, etc.

Internet Explorer did not work but Netscape did. I did a google, yahoo, excite and lycos search and found no solution. In addition, the error message did not indicate from where the error was coming.

I had to figure it out myself and thought I would post the solution here in case it happens to anyone else:

I simply did a system restore. The problem was that the normal way to get to the system restore was blocked by the error message. So I did Start > Help and Support > and typed " Run the System Restore Wizard " in the search box.

One of the selections showed up as Run the System Restore Wizard . I clicked on it and followed the instructions. I did a system restore back 30 days.

I restarted the computer and now all is well. Hope this helps someone with the same problem that I had.
