I don't know why but this fan in the picture below, hums for like 1 min when I start my comp. It started doing this a while ago, any ideas?

Could be failing. Might better keep an eye on the processor temp.

is that a gigabyte mobo?
i have that problem after i move my machine. i figured it was dust.
either way, that's not your processor (duh) so you processor temp won't help you. that's your chipset.

a bit of noise on startup isnt unusual, unless it really gets worse, not a lot to be concerned about. although you could try cleaning it.

heh, I've been wondering what that thing was, which was why I just got the picture. Anyways, how would I go about cleaning it?

very carefully. with the power off AND disconnected, naturally. but only if its dirty, dont clean it if it doesnt need it.
if you can remove it, go ahead, then clean it normally with a damp cloth , let it dry thoroughly, then remount it.
if its permanent, use a dry cloth to get as much gunk as you can off. a small makeup or painters brush will work in odd crevices.
anything else can wait until it gets worse, or something odd starts to happen.

hmm, well I took one of those cans with the air in them and blew alot of dust out. But, it still makes that noise when i load it up. Is there a site that I can go to that will explain to me how to re-move it and re-mount it. Cuz I've taken stuff of some small crap comp I have stashed under my bed but had trouble putting them back on. Since this computer is a computer that's worth something, I don't wanna mess it up.

Replace the fan if it bothers you that much. If it moans or whines, it's possible it could fail. This could damage your mobo.

You could try oiling the fan. I got an extra year out of my old PSU fan this way -- and without the clicking, humming, and whirring .
