Can Not Boot

When I try to boot, the first screen where it says press delete to enter setup comes up fine, but then the next screen come up with a list of parts, and at the bottom is says:
Verifying DMI Pool Data . . . . . .
1 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 . . . and so on. It will not load after that.
I have
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
Athlon 2200
512 MB RAM

Now when I boot, instead of 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10. . . it says 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99. . .

1. Corrupt boot files on the computer.
2. Settings for hard disk drive are not correct.
3. Boot devices not set properly.
4. BIOS corrupt or misc. setting not set properly.
5. Connections loose or disconnected.
6. Bad Hard disk drive or other bad hardware.
