Compaq IO backplate HELP

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Does anyone know where I can get an IO backplate for a Compaq P4 mobo. VERY DIFFERENT LAYOUT.

in order top to bottom on IO panel
top = keyboard/mouse
2nd = LPT Connector / Serial com port
3rd = Serial com port / 3 audio jacks
bottom = 2 usb / RJ45

Thanks, I hope someone has a clue, I've been
searching and SURE can't get it from Compaq.

Hmm. Sounds like time to make one.
Easiest way is to adapt an existing backplate by cutting the material away wherever the ports poke through.

Yep, I think that's what I'm going to do. I have
an extra *normal* P4 one, and I got some nice thin tin from
the lining on an old sgi machine. (they're completely
lined)

It's time to do some rigging :-)

Thanks,
~Barb
