I GOT A COMPAQ PRESARIO 7360 AND IT HAS WINDOWS 98. IT HAS A 500 MHz PROCESSOR AND IT HAS 128 MEGS OF RAM. I HAVE TRIED PUTTING MORE RAM IN IT BUT THE COMPUTER GOES FUZZY LIKE A TV WITHOUT CABLE. MY QUESTION IS WHY DOES IT DO IT. I HAD A FRIEND TELL ME THE COMPUTER WOULD ONLY EXCEPT ONE KINDA RAM IF SO WHAT KIND IS THAT AND CAN I STEP UP TO 256 MEGS OF RAM AND WILL THIS SYSTEM EXCEPT A FASTER PROCESSOR MAYBE A 560 TO 700 MHz IF SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT KINDA PROCESSOR IM LOOKING FOR THERES SO MANY OUT THERE. ANY ANSWERS WILL HELP AND THANKS A MILLION

Hello, that board can take 512 meg of memory, 1 slot is 256 meg, so 2 is 512 meg

Have to get compaq ram, like the asus a7n8x-x, real fussy bout what ram they get given, goto to any computer salvage dealer who like compaq`s, they`ll tell u the same. Goto compaq site, try 2 find the compatible parts pages.

I also have a COmpaq Presario 7360 and I can't even put the RAM into the slot! The floppy and cd bays are in the way. How did you get past them? Thanks in advance. ***Coloradokamp@aol.com
