Dual Monitors

So... im setting up dual monitos...i think ive done it right... just dont like how its working =\ lol , one of the reasons i did this was so like when im playing counter strike and i die i dont have to minimize it to work on other things.... but when i go over to the other things in the second monitor and click to work on them.... CS minmizes anyway.... so uhh....its kinda pointless -_-.... or is there a way to change this??? someone lemme know plz...

What type of graphices card are you using.
on my graphics card if i use dual it then sends the program or game to both monitors, that defeats the object as well. but i have got a better facility though, if i play videos, on my second monitor it switches to full screen. I was surprised, even in DivX player it switches my second monitor to full screen, this also prevents me viewing this video in full screen on my first monitor, the only way round that is to turn the second monitor off, i don't mean remove power from the second monitor, i mean in windows to turn it off.
Anyway i will try and help, depending on the type of graphics card you have, i have dual graphics as well.
