Alright, I put together a P2 266mhz for a guy, it has :
P2 266mhz(slot 1)
256mb sdram
and some weird ATI video card with tv output (like 4 or 8mb PCI)
Ok the deal is i start the comp up last night its working fine (I see the BIOS post up and I know its all ok) I go to bed wake up go to school and when I come back to resume my started job (comp was laying on the table all day with nothing plugged) I just plug the power for it, the screen to the card and press the button.
Nothing lights up...
Should I take out the sound card?
and the network card?
All that is plugged is the PSU to the motherboard and the leds and switches (was working that way yesterday)
Please someone help me out...

Sounds like some connection got messed up. (were you really tired when you stopped working on it last night?) Check the connections between:
A) Plug and wall
B) Power cord and PSU
C) PSU and Motherboard
D) Mobo and ram
E) Mobo and CPU
F) Mobo and power switch
G) Mobo and vid card
H) vid card and monitor
I) monitor and power cord
J) Power cord and wall
Hope this helps

OK guys it all works thanks
Now this comp (which im fixing) has this weird MPX ACCTON.... RA 758602 I tried to find drivers on internet but its a waste of time I found one which didnt owrk, and another CHEETAHPOWER 10/100 which also didn't work after installing it twice everytime it doesn't find the stupid files it asks me to find the aco06.sys its there so i go find it and it sees it it loads it
and tells me there's an error
how is there an error, if the file is there.?

Answer: The file is bad.
get a $40 jaton here, and a fan for it here, and overclock it like they do here.
