I got pop ups on my computer anyone knows how to get rid of them? they start poping up when i launch my internet explorer (google.com)

Download the google toolbar - i haven't had any popups since i installed that.

Also, run Spybot since it sounds like you have spyware/adware on your computer.

yes

you can also try panicware's pop-up stopper. its just a small file but can do a lot to get rid of those annoying pop-ups.

Backweb is an app that comes with HP Pavilions. It serves you no purpose(unless you like them knowing what your doing). It would be best to use the uinstaller to get rid of it but either way.

I would use adaware for scanning for spyware.

Dump IE and get Mozilla Firebird (www.mozilla.org).
You'll be safe from 99.9% of trojans and spyware.

You'll be free of spyware, but you'll also be webpage free.
