Deleting System Restore Points

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

After I installed Windows XP on this computer, I have noticed that it creates a restore point after almost every installation I make. I don't mind this, I just want to know if there is anyway to delete specific restore points, to keep just the ones I deem important. Is this possible? Or is there any way around this other than disabling it?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Windows XP Professional SP1, by the way... although I really doubt that would make any difference.

If you open the System Restore Utility, it should give you a calendar with restore points. I think that you can delete them from there. I have it disabled since it's pretty much worthless and I'd rather just format and reinstall if anything that bad happened. Plus, when disabled, I gain about 2-3GB of disk space.

I cannot seem to delete from there... if I disable it, will all the entries be erased automatically?

Nevermind, I disabled it.
