Media Player - i-Tunes

I have Windows media player but i want to install i-tunes. Now, after installation, i cannot play any Cd or file with i-tunes. Is is possible that Media player interferes with i-tunes?

Try right clicking on th music file and click on Open With. Then when the window pops up choose I-tunes. If you want I-tunes to always play your music files, click on the box that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

Go into windows media player options and click the 'file types' tab. Uncheck all the file types you want i-Tunes to run. Then go into itunes and find the same options(not sure where it is in itunes) and set all the formats you want itunes to run.
