Video Freezes and sound skips

Hello,
When I play games on my PC, especially Star Wars Galaxies, every 15 min or so my computer freezes and the sound skips, the video freezes up at the same time the sound starts skipping. I then have to reboot. I would really appreciate any advice as to how to fix this problem.

Could you provide the Specs on your machine including the Cards installed. The OS and a software list would also help us aid you in diagnosing your troubles.

He just said he had a gig of it and unless its like PC1600 it should. I have a bad sound card problem with Knights of the Old Republic on my machine I couldn't even stand it its so distorted.

If you're online while playing, it could be caused by downloading and/or uploading something at the same time. Otherwise check your Device Manager for incorrectly installed drivers. You're Videocard driver might have gotten damaged and you could simply reïnstall it!

Its either heat or a low wattage power supply. Check the fan on your Video card and CPU to make sure they are working properly, as well as any other fans in your case. If you dont have an exhaust fan, I would get one.
What wattage is your Power Supply?
