Satellite 430 CDT erased

I thought I was lucky enough to purchase a 2nd hand Toshiba Satellite Pro 430 CDT laptop. However, when it arrived the hard drive has been totally erased. There is a floppy drive an a cd rom.
When the system starts, it runs the self test...memory check (total 49608kb) and then goes to the screen asking ..."insert system disk in drive. press any key when ready"...
I was able to make a bootdisk that allowed me to get an A: prompt. What do i do next? I have a windows 98 CD and an old set of diskettes - windows 95 upgrade.

Hello!

First you run FDISK, so you set up partitions. Then you must format it. Type "format/s c:" and then press yes. After that, reboot and select "boot with cdrom support" if your boot-disk dont have it, then try download other one with it. You then put your windows cd in and type "setup" using xcd-rom drive, i believe it will be E.
