i just saw the trailer and i think this movie is going to be tight, why? simply i like huge jackman's image and i like vampire/demon killing stories/movies, not buffy though

anyone think "van helsing" be shot entirely at night time? juz like "underworld".. never saw a glimpse of the sun....

OH, yeah. they die when they are xposed to ultraviloet rays...
juz thought its cool when the slayers put them under the sun, watch them burn and disappear into ashes... like the movie "vampires" (james woods), anne rice's vampire stories and some scenes from "blade" movies.
like the fx, though.

you mean he's a werewolf? and what about those "lighthiders"? is that what they really called in this movie? pretty much sounds like "underworld-theme (vamps vs werewolves) meets blade" with an old touch to me.
well, i'm keeping my fingers crossed though.

oh, im so sorry to mislead you...covenantazkiker.
they are juz terms that i used to describe what i "personally" feel about the movie. (what i mean with "wolve" is the xmen character of hugh he used to portray, and "lighthiders" for the vamps)
but for what i know, van helsing is a human, and a doctor who specializes with blood. he got involve with vamps when he met lucy (a girl bitten by a vamp... i think dracula himself). she was diagnosed by van helsing and found out that she's turnin vamp too. so he (van) and two more fellows (lucy's fiancee and another suitor... i think) unite to find the one reponsible for lucy's tranformation.
for the upcoming movie, im not aware of the plot yet. but maybe there's a similarity.
