I have just bought diablo II and i have installed it. it is the full version and i have tryed putting the latest patch on but every time i try and load it it tells me to insert the play disk when it is already in. what do i do.

ok if i got it right you didn't got the patch yet. if not try downloading it from this link http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mdt0387p and then try playing the game.

He's saying the latest patch he downloaded doesn't work. Not that he doesn't have it.

Original game?

Is this a problem with Diablo II Classic or Lord of Destruction?

Are you saying that after you install the game you can't play at all (you get that error message about the CD not being in the CD-ROM drive)? If so, that means that something in your system, either software or hardware, is having a problem with the copy-protection scheme (Securom) that the game uses. The first thing you should do is update your motherboard chipset drivers. What version of Windows are you using and what kind of motherboard is in your system? If you tell me those things, I will show you where you can get the drivers.
