Trend of cartoons nowadays

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This may definitely count as one of the silliest threads to date in OTS. Anyways i'm watching TV with my six yar old cousin and she's watching thsi cartoon called Ed, Ed n Eddy. Ed says " i'd kiss you but i'm not that kind of guy!"

Another example is thsi Time squad thing where the big guy meets his ex-wife and it is explicitly stated that she is his ex-wife.

There r many other examples i could give but i guess the message may be a bit clear.

And we wonder why society is in a downfall.

Definitely a silly thread but its kind of disturbing when cartoons have so many hidden meanings in them and kids are getting smarter and they will figure out another meaning to the apparently harmless dialogue found in these cartoons.

;D

Er, I can somewhat see what you're saying with the sexual/gay references, but cartoons have almost always had those sorts of things. Thats what makes them appeal to many adults, in my opinion.

But the ex-wife thing...Huh? Not sure of your point there.
