D2 lod cant join games

Each time i try to join games it takes like 5 minutes to get to the loading screen then another 5 to say failed to join game.... WTF is happining? plz help

You're saying that every single game you try to join results in a "failed to join game" error message?
When was the last time you were able to join any games without any problems?
I've seen this problem before, where all of a sudden a person can't join any games and the problem doesn't go away...
I have a question for you, and I'd like you to answer it honestly, please. Have you ever downloaded any programs for Diablo II? If you have, you don't have to tell me what they are, just tell me whether you've downloaded them or not. When I say "programs", you can probably guess what I'm referring to... bots, hacks, cheats, cracks, etc.

Yes every game... last time i got on was like 4 days ago. yes i used to use a hack but i deleted it

I see... well, my first suggestion would be to uninstall the game, delete the Diablo II directory from your hard drive if it's still there after you've uninstalled, then reinstall the game and download patch 1.10 from Battle.net.
My second suggestion would be to scan your system for trojan viruses with an up-to-date antivirus program... you never know what surprises a hack program will come "packaged" with.

ive reinstalled it 3 times and each time i downloaded patch. i ran scan disk but im goin to run virus scan later. any other suggestions?

After you reinstall, are you able to join any games at all? If so, how many games can you join before the problem starts up again?
Can you create games just fine?
I don't know for sure if this will help, but if you have a software firewall installed, try temporarily disabling it and then joining some games. If it works, then I guess your firewall isn't configured properly for Diablo II.
Try logging on with a different account and see what happens.
