What this is about is pretty "dumb" in effect, but still a point to be said behind it. I remembered the old days of Starcraft:Broodwar when I was actually playing on battle.net. The only real accounts I can remember these days are The-AoD and TroJa~HoRse(Diablo 1 Mage [whom rkkrd]).

I do remember my old "clan" from way back when in which I created the account for. Army of darkness, haha. It was a long time ago just after they released the "clan (name)" channels. Realizing this was almost 4 years ago, and I was a "regular" at channel Open Tech Support for quite a while before that got me thinking. I am just "guessing" here but I believe the time I've been on battle.net (not including the year or so I wasn't due to no modem) has been over 6 years. I am now 21 years old, and that's over 1/4th of my life. I guess you could say that Open Tech Support has been a big part of my life, and I'd probably be a different person if it wasn't for that channel.

Just for the story part of it, and because I have nothing better to do I'll explain how I became a part of Open Tech Support way back then. One day while playing Diablo 1 I felt like being an butthole and went to Open Tech Support just to be a wanker. Some people here will know this name and some won't but he's been probably the best friend I ever met over the internet and was the one reason I became part of Open Tech Support on Battle.net. So I was in the channel and the first person that said something I was going to attack (Eh? Teenager years, so hostile I swear). Idiot's_Revenge said something so I felt like making a crack. I simply said, "Yeah Idiot's_Revenge, I would have been your father but the dog beat me to it." Some reason he didn't squelch me off the bat. And not much later we were playing Diablo 1 together, which was cool. This was back when I had a SiS platform with my P3 450. Way back when, before I rebuilt it even!. I didn't even know how bad it really was until I really got into it. Though, I knew alot about computers, still if it wasn't for Open Tech Support, I'd probably still have a similar prebuilt platform lol. Since then I've made some totally awesome freinds and have seen some quite amazing things around the internet. Yeah I know what you're thinking, "So what's the point of this post again?". Well to be honest, I don't know. I just felt like sharing my thoughts with others and seeing what other people have to say about it.

Anyways, so I've spent alot of my life on Battle.net and must say, if I had to do it all over, I would. I just wouldn't try to become friends by making such a childish crack on someone. Heck, I wish back when I had my P100 playing diablo that I would have went to Open Tech Support. Ahh well, you can't change the past I guess. I guess I should end this "rant" or whatnot. I will say this one thing, it's been one helluva ride, can't wait to see what's next .

I still play on Battle-net from time to time and i actually (beleive it or not) remeber a character called the _Aod who beat the crap out of me in Starcraft. its cuz of that char i went over andplayed every scenario against comp.

I still dont get it though, do u miss B.Net or wat? If so y not go back to it? i mostly stick to teh OTS channel in Starcraft although ppl there r so good i dont even bother playing (or i drop out immediately one building of mine is destroyed )

Rolls up a few tasty turtle leaves, and pours Cheese Puff Fizzies for the House...(puts a quarter in the OTS jukebox and plays (MOO)n over Miami.

Imagine the people who play EQ 10 hours a day everyday, some even longer.

lol Labo. The OTS Jukebox.. How old is that thing? I belive it still plays records... We need to upgrade it!

I was like 11 when I landed in OTS...started Diablo 1 with some friends at that time and got hooked. Went to OTS channel asking what the lag coins meant

Back then Nova wasn't any famous game designer, he was just some kid in college with no attitude

Puts a quarter in the OTS jukebox and plays, "It's not easy being green."
