startup problem in computer

whenever i start my computer i receive the message"cmos checksum bad" press f1 to enter set up and f2 to load defaults and after entering set up i load the values as required by my computer and my system works well.but again at start up i am receiving the same message

There is definately something wrong with your BIOS configuration. Get your mobo manuel and locate the CMOS battery and reset jumper. Then remove the CMOS batery, set the jumper to reset. After 10 seconds, move the jumper back to the original placement, and replace the CMOS battery. The problem should be solved.
If that does not work, then updating your BIOS might also work. This is a more dangerous procedure because it clears all BIOS during the operation. If you have a UPS, then plug your computer into that before attempting a BIOS update. Go to your mobo or computer manufacturer's website and grab the latest BIOS updates and BIOS update utility. Some allow you to update the BIOS from windows while others will ask you to create a boot disk. Either way, follow the instructions closely and you should have solved the problem.
