Router acting as a DHCP server

Is it possible for a router to act as a DHCP server and actually give out an ip address?

Depends on the router. I know Linksys routers can act as a DHCP server.. I'm assuming most other popular routers do as well.
It's a feature. If the router can act as a DHCP server, it will usually say so on the box.

A D-Link 640 can 
It messed us up last LAN party, had to go out and but a freaking regular hub cause we couldn't turn it off to act normal hehe.

All routers have DHCP capabilities, otherwise they'd be called a SWITCH!

Actually, that's not true. MOST of the new Routers have DHCP capabilities. I've done my research.. anyways thanks for help everyone.
