Do I have bad ram?

Hey guys,
I bought a PC133 512MB SD-RAM stick in the summer, and haven't had problems with it until now.
Before the installation I had a stick of 128 and another one of 256.
I formatted a few weeks back, and it would never install properly. Then I pulled out one of the sticks (dont remember which) and it installed fine. I put it back in, and it starts acting wierd (programs arent running, crashing, anything i try to install was always corrupted)
This time, I pull out the 512 (i remember specifically) and format completely. Everything is fine and dandy, and just this morning I put the 512 back in (to play warcraft 3 of course  ) and it worked super... until just now, war3 crashed. gave me something like a c000005 error. I heard these were usually memory related.
Office 2003 crashed a couple of times (2x) as well (all after teh 512 went back in)
Any help? Suggestions?

switch the 512 for one of the other sticks, and leave out one. run that for a couple days.

Ah okay, I'll try that. It doesn't matter at all which I keep? 512 + 128, or 512 + 256?

Just put 1 stick in and test for a couple of days.
Use the 256, no need to torment yourself with a 128.

1 stick is a bit low to run long term, unless its urgent you need to track this down. aside from which, you already know the 128 and 256 are fine. the question is whether you have a bad slot, bad stick, or its something else. youre not running win98 are you?
memtest is great, but he already knows he has a memory problem

Hehe, I'm on XP atm.
I have the 512 + 256, for a couple days now, only 1 problem so far. My office 2003 crashed on me twice, well.. i'm not sure if thats what you call it.
I was typing something in word, and when i scrolled down like one of the sentences I type got all wierd, kind like only the top half of the letters were seen, and everythign froze. The monitor kinda shut off, and my computer was still running. The screen was just black tho, and the light on my monitor kept blinking.
Other then that, everything is fine so far...
