Redwench and TREKPSYCHO,How would I do a clean erase in DOS?

Posted by: redwench

well, partitioning and formatting will do the job quite nicely. but if you really feel the urge to DOS it: del *.*

I tried your way first, which seemed like the easiest way to go but I got an error alert and the process locked up. So how do I do it in DOS?Ha,Ha!

make a dos boot disk, boot from it, switch the prompt to C: , and del *.*

of course, if you want to use the drive again, youll have to partition and format it first.
