More SBC Yahoo DSL Problems

Just a little "Be Aware" Notice to all you fellow sufferers of the terrible SBC Yahoo! DSL Software. From my latest experience, I do not advise anyone who is currently using this software to install the latest and greatest version of Microsoft Media Player 9.0.
Turns out that the DSL software that is provided, is not compatible with Media Player 9.0 So now, every time I try to access any media content over the net, be it video or audio, my browser just crashes!!
In regards to the incompatibility, that is at least what tech support told me. I'm being asked to down-grade my Media Player back to version 8.0 or earlier. Geniuses at Tech Support don't seem to know that you can't do that in XP, without using the System Restore function. And even then, not all Media Player 9.0 files are removed.
So I think for the time being, I'm stuck without any media access capabilities without my browser constantly crashing, unless you guys know a "work-around". Appreciate any and all feedback. Cheers...

It would be best to either: Dump internet explorer and use Firebird OR get rid of the 'yahoo' browser SBC gives you and their yahoo connection program and use the Enternet software. You do not need the yahoo browser or the yahoo connection program to connect, its just yahoos part of the deal they have with SBC. The yahoo software just runs the enternet program anyways but with extra fancy GUI.
