Installing/ uninstalling demos

Hi all. yes i like to download emos esp games i missed out on. i just downloaded the demo of Thief from gamespot. i noticed that the demo didnt show up on the Add/Remove programs list and didnt even seem to come with an unistall option. What do i do; just delete all the files that came with it or what. pls help.  ( its cuz of things like thsi my PC is such a mess)

See if there is an uninstall exe in the game folder. Sometimes you'll find one in there and not in add/remove.

Well no, there isnt one actually. Theres a set-up.exe file but it gives me an eror message. The funny thing is the game seems to have been installed there already...tthere's a Theif.exe icon that i can click and the game plays.

You can manually delete it by deleting all prog. files and registry keys but its a pain in the ass.
