In Win XP...

Can someone please tell me how to change desktop icons from the normal double click to single click mode where the icons appear to be underlined and can be opened with a single click. It almost appears that the icons have become hyperlinks.

If anyone knows how to change to this mode please send me a PM. Thanks.

Whenever I see somebody ask to be sent a PM or an email, it immediately occurs to me this person doesn't really deserve an answer.

Why? Because they are too lazy to come back and check. This means they were too lazy to try to find the answer on their own.

It also means they don't get the concept of providing answers so others can learn from their problems.

It also usually means they take more than they give.

With all that said, it sounds like you've activated Active Desktop. Simply turn it off.

No soup for you!

Do you find it necessary to rant at any opportunity you get?

Geez, take it easy. I needed to know this information QUICK. I've been posting here since November and this was the FIRST TIME I've ever requested a PM. SO RELAX.

And before you judge who deserves what take a look at my record

You may notice some posts missing from this thread.

I don't care what your physical age is, you're all acting like bitchy children.

Cut it out. ALL of you.
