Hello all,
I just found this site today and I'm happy to be here.
I'm Happy Reaper. I am building a new web site and forum and
am discovering all sorts of nice little conundrums, because I am
linking a site host with a different forum server. Anybody know
a great hosting service that provides it all:
domain, web templates, forum, (maybe free hosting for contributing webdesigners), support, (and hopefully cool interfaces?)
I feel like I am building Noah's ark over here!
If I can put everything on one server I think that would solve some of my problems!
Looking forward to catching up with all this great reading!

As for your question, the last time I used a webhost that used web templates and other goodies I didn't have to do, it was Geocities. I dunno how they are right now.

Geocities, Angelfire, and these kinds of sites are usually blocked where I happen to live right now--Shanghai. Heck, sometimes even google or yahoo is blocked. Freewebs survives (www.freewebs.com), which is good, with some decent templates, but there isn't yet a forum option there. At first I tried linking this site with a forum under a different URL but it plays havoc with imaging, and would also cost more to transfer the DNS under a single domain. But I was reading these messages and found the PHPBB system (wow, great forum templates!-- www.phpbb.com) which would solve a lot of my problems! I'm going to play with this for a while and if it works I will find myself a host.
