MS Upgrades

I upgraded my office 2000 on MS site and since then I keep getting message about 'odbc resources dll (C:\windows\system\odbcint.dll) is different version than odbc setup.dll odbccp32.dll. Now I tried sfc and installed the required dll, then found that it gave an errors the other way around. sfc again with other one and back to square one. The box appears when I access control panel. Well folks any ideas. (PS I nearly always get some problem when downloaded stuff from ms. Running a PII 350Mhz 384ram, Matrox G200 and ?SB card.
