unable to play game, had problems during install

when I was installing the game it would ask me for the disk with the cab files on it, so I put the play disk in, it installed some more and asked for the installation disk, put it in and it finished the installation. Just wondering if maybe I don't have something that might be required that isn't listed on the box

What game are you refering to?

He mentions Deus Ex in the other thread. I can't recall if it asks for the game play disk or not. I can check when I get home though provided he means the first one (I don't have the second, or expansion, or whatever that was).
What happens when you try to run the game? Do you get an error message? Does nothing happen at all? Does it start and then just stop?
