Hi!!
Just thought I'd drop in and say a few words (unaccustomed as I am ...!!)
Must say that I'm really impressed with the site! I was just looking for a solution to an Incredimail prob when I saw your link ... but stayed to look around!!
About me? Well, I'm female, happily married to a lovely Kiwi guy. Have been pagan for just over 8 years, am actually a Falkland Islander.
I am a Sci fi fan ... love Stargate etc ...
Just recently got Windows 2000 installed on our pretty old computer after a reformat, which had had McAfee supposedly guarding our system. Big joke, we discovered that we had 2 worms ... which our friend Steve spent most of Saturday battling to get rid of. Such a good friend, and he'd love this site ... he spends a lot of time helping folks online too. He's a real genuine guy, plays Unreal and builds levels (not sure of the jargon, I'm computer literate, just!!). His online name is Suicide Sid!! I'll give him the name of this place, I'm sure he'd love to have a look round, and help in some way.
So now we have AVG and Zone alarm as guard dogs, and we're worm free. It was the Blaster one and Lovsan ... we eventually got rid of them with Stinger, and have downloaded the upgrade from Microsoft which apparently has the patch in it for them. I'm a bit paranoid at the moment, and do a scan every time I come offline!!
Anyway ... I thought I'd introduce myself, and say what brought me here!
Hope to check in from time to time and maybe get to know some of you!

good question though ... I guess I'm a witch with a realist streak!! I'm not one of the Halliwells ... or a Buffy clone ... so it's practical magick for this lady!

I love your name Canis Lupus!! The wolf is my power animal ... and I have a strong affinity with them, have done since I can remember.
Actually, I have been known to utter the odd "Oh, thank god for that!!" ... and I don't take offence easily anyway!! Besides, we have gods and goddesses in our religion ... I'm not one of these raving women's libbers, I acknowledge that men have their uses 
Yes ... still infection-free!!! I'm absolutely paranoid since the 'infection', and do all the checks that's humanly possible when I've been on the Net!! The poor old computer must be sitting here thinking "Jeez, ANOTHER scan???? what's she on???" It's so frustrating, and blooming annoying, that there are folks out there who seem to enjoy releasing all sorts of malicious stuff on the rest of us. I can't understand it at all ... I was talking to 'Sid' about it when he was working to get rid of the bugs. We both said... if they have all this knowledge and skill, why the hell don't they do something positive with it, create some sort of game or programme and make some money out of their skill.
Anyway ... morning 'bitch session' over!!! (climbs down off soapbox!)
I haven't had time to go and read the other posts yet ... so I don't know anyone else. I'm a bit busy at the moment.

Don't think the 'puter would thank me if I censed and sprinkled purifiers over it!! I'm into mixing the practical with the magickal anyway ...
