can't extract

I am attempting to extract to files suggested by the forums pages, mvSoft Information and WinZip update. Although I can't. I get an error message "Error Reading File". On the mvSoft, I was able to get some information, "CRC is d079a4a5 should be ed45e406", on the WinZip I have no idea what happened.
Can someone lend me a helping hand in this matter.
By the by, love this sight, it has been extremely helpful, just registered today and have had 3 of my questions answered!
